BRIEF
Each major Games Workshop release required a cinematic trailer to drive excitement and pre-orders, supported by a steady stream of social content to maintain engagement across platforms. The goal was to create a cohesive campaign that could capture attention at launch, then sustain visibility through consistent, high-quality content across YouTube and social channels.


Approach
I approached the work as a unified campaign system, ensuring that both trailers and social content shared a consistent visual language for each release. Every product had its own distinct theme and style, defined by detailed guidelines from the game designers, which needed to be translated accurately for instant recognisability. My role was to take these unique visual identities and adapt them into motion graphics and flexible layouts that could scale across both cinematic and social formats.



Execution
Working within a team of videographers and editors, I developed motion graphics for trailers including logo animations, transitions, and reusable visual elements using After Effects and Cinema 4D. These assets were designed to integrate seamlessly into cinematic edits and reflect the tone of each individual product. In parallel, I created a range of supporting social content, including static and motion-led posts for platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. To manage volume and speed, I built reusable templates and layouts that could be adapted for different releases while maintaining alignment with each product’s unique visual identity.



Outcome
The trailers achieved strong viewership across YouTube and social platforms, generating excitement and anticipation for each release. Supporting social content helped maintain visibility between key campaign moments, reinforcing each product’s distinct identity while keeping the wider campaign cohesive across channels. Together, these outputs created a scalable system that supported multiple launches and sustained engagement throughout each release cycle.
